Facility
The Food Protein R&D Center is an engineering process center, administered by the Artie McFerrin Department of Chemical Engineering and the Texas Engineering Experiment Station - all part of the Texas A&M University System. The center has 18 full time employees and 10 part-time undergraduate and graduate student employees. The physical facilities occupy over 59,000 square feet of very well equipped laboratories, administrative offices, and five separate pilot plant spaces in six wholly operated buildings on two campuses in College Station, Texas.
