The Food Protein R&D Center (FPRDC) is an engineering process development, innovation, and training center, focused on adding value to diverse  biological materials, including oilseeds, grains, nuts, citrus, vegetables, waste biomass, waxes, petroleum and natural/botanical oils, liquid/fluid process streams, and water. We are part of the Texas A&M University System through the Texas Engineering Experiment Station and managed as a center within the Chemical Engineering Department.
