The Separation Sciences Group at the Food Protein R&D Center at Texas A&M University hosts multiple Practical Short Course each year. The course attendees range from the food, chemical, petroleum, and environmental industries, to just name a few. Lectures are given by academia, industry experts, engineers, and consultants. Basic principles, system design, membrane selection, case studies, success stories, industrial & commercial applications and economics are discussed.
Daily pilot plant demonstrations are conducted to give attendees a "hands-on" learning experience with separation technologies equipment. A creative, learning environment provides many opportunities for everyone to establish a network for their membrane & separation technologies needs.
Short course attendance typically exceeds 30 attendees per course. |
